Discussion Groups

Discussion Groups

Discussion Groups are in session, but due to COVID restrictions, meetings are held on Zoom. If you enjoy reading, interacting with others and learning new things, consider joining one of the groups. Stop-by the Circulation Desk or give us a call and let us know you’d like to join!

Wednesday Book Clubs

1st and 2nd Wednesdays of the Month at 1:00 pm

The library sponsors two afternoon book clubs. Groups meet once a month and are open to all interested persons.

Virtual Book Club

2nd Tuesday of the Month at 6:30 pm

The Virtual Book Club is a book discussion group that meets every second Tuesday evening of the month from 6:30 – 7:30 pm. If you are interested in joining, please complete the form, and we’ll be in touch with instructions on how to join and the current reading selection. If you enjoy reading on your personal device using either Hoopla or OverDrive, and meeting with others via the Internet, this is the group for you. New members are welcome!

Grab & Go Crafts

2nd Wednesday of the Month at 6:30 pm

We’ve packaged the craft in a bag for you. Grab it and go! You’ll need to register for these events in the Events Calendar. You’ll meet together on Zoom to compare your experience and share your craft.

Cooking Challenge

1st Monday of the Month at 6:30 pm

Put your cooking skills to use with our Cooking Challenge! Pickup a mystery ingredient at the library and start cooking. You’ll meet on Zoom to compare recipes and ideas. Please register. Members don’t have to be serious or experienced cooks; enthusiasm for cooking is more important.
