Friends of the Library

Our Mission

The Friends of the Raynham Public Library, Inc. is a non-profit 501c (3) organization dedicated to supporting our library. Our mission is to help the library become a thriving community center for intellectual discovery and lifelong learning.

What We Do

Through the work and dedication of its members, Friends has organized semi-annual book sales, community-wide reads, raffles, a comedy dinner evening, bus trips to area attractions and much more. The coming year holds the promise of more to come. Check back for information.

Where It Goes

Membership and fundraising dollars go to support the Raynham Public Library and the ongoing work of the Friends. Money raised for the library has purchased an outdoor events sign, an over-sized easel for preschool storytime, museum and zoo passes, as well as supported the children’s Summer Reading Program. Our community read is growing in popularity and social events are in the works for the coming year.

Join Us

Membership costs very little and means so much. Join the Friends of the Raynham Public Library. Get involved with any of the events and programs we sponsor. All dues and gifts are tax deductible. Members and non-members are welcome at our meetings. We meet on the fourth Monday of each month at 6:30 PM in the library’s Meeting Room. We hope to see you there! Membership forms are available at the library.
